Welcome to Tinsel Town, Los Angeles. Check into your hotel and then explore the restaurants and bars along the lively Third Street Promenade in Santa Monica or take a stroll along Venice Beach and watch the sun set over the Pacific Ocean.
On your first full day in California perhaps head for Universal Studios or Hollywood. If you're feeling energetic, consider hiring a bike and riding to swanky Malibu, or bohemian Venice Beach.

You'll adore Palm Springs, a chic urban desert oasis. During your time here check out the Aerial Tramway for incredible views over the city, enjoy a round of golf, relax by the pool or jump on a ATV for a desert adventure along the San Andreas Fault.

Pirate Cove Marina and Resort is your next home for two nights. Rise early and travel via Joshua Tree National Park, the Amboy Crater and nostalgic Old Route 66 before descending into the valleys of Eastern California and intersecting the path of the mighty Colorado River. The following day is yours to do as you please. You could hire a boat and sail along the Colorado River or hire jet skis and try your hand at water skiing. In the evening you'll relax by the mighty Colorado River and enjoy a beer in front of a blazing bonfire on the beach.
Today you'll head off for the Granddaddy of all National Parks, The Grand Canyon. This wonder of the world is 277 miles long, up to 18 miles wide and 5000 feet deep. The Canyon is a mosaic of five of the seven life zones found in all of North America and three of the four desert types found on the continent. In its walls is a record of three of the four eras of geological time, along with a rich variety of fossils.
On route travel along Route 66 and visit the historic and quirky towns of Oatman, Seligman and Kingman. This evening you'll experience a magical moment as you watch the sunset over the Grand Canyon. On the second day at the Grand Canyon you may wish to go on a gentle hike or take a helicopter ride over the North Rim.

Today, the drive along the East Rim of the Grand Canyon to deep into the heart of Monument Valley is truly awe inspiring.
Arrive by early afternoon and enjoy a tour of these lands with your own Navajo guide. Today will discover Arches National Park, Goblin Valley, Capitol Reef National Park, and the Grand Staircase – Escalante National Monument. This evening you'll watch the sunset at Inspiration Point in the heart of Bryce Canyon. Home will seem a million miles away.

Today, it's time to head to Southern Utah, by now you’ll be awake early each morning gagging to go, as even more amazing scenery awaits you. You’ll hug the shores of Lake Panguitch before climbing over Blue Springs Mountain and Cedar Breaks National Park before your cruise into Zion National Park. Driving through Zion is like riding through the bottom of the Grand Canyon. You'll arrive at your overnight stop with plenty of time for you to explore this incredible park packed full of hidden pools and awe-inspiring vistas.

Today, we suggest you avoid the main highway back to Las Vegas and take a detour via Valley of The Fire State Park. Think of the moon and colour it red, that’s what this state park resembles.Tonight in Las Vegas, take in a show or head for the famous dancing fountain display at the Bellagio Hotel. On your last day in Las Vegas consider a visit to the Mob Museum or the quirky Boneyard at the Neon Museum. If you wish to drive out of Las Vegas there is plenty in the area to keep you occuppied like Lake Mead, Hoover Dam, Mount Charleston or Red Rock Canyon.
Depart Las Vegas for your early afternoon flight home.
